Completing missing budget and development activity data

Note: Not applicable if you are using Infor Learning Management.

When a resource or a manager submits a development activity request, information such as the exact development activity may be missing (it may not exist yet). In addition, the system may not be able to automatically find the budget to which the development activity request belongs. The learning manager must then complete the missing data.

  1. Select Development PlanningLearning Budgets > Prepare Budgets.
  2. Select the Requests tab.
  3. Select the request for which to complete missing data.
  4. On the Missing Data tab, specify development activity information for any development activity request that appears as missing development activity data.
    • If the activity is missing, select the development activity from the drop-down list.
      Note: If the development activity does not exist in the catalog yet, press the F6 key to open the Create Development Activity form, define the development activity, save it, and close the form to return to this form. Then select the new development activity in the Activity field.
    • If the development period is missing, select the development period.
      Note: Typically, the system automatically assigns the development period based on the preferred dates of completion and, if applicable, the resource's legal entity.
    • If the budget category is missing, select the budget category, and click Save.
  5. Click Save.
