Reverting validated checklist components

Note: This action is not available for activity checklist components. It is available on other checklist components only if they are defined to require validation. Competency and skill checklist components always require validation.
  1. Select Development Planning > Checklists > Monitoring.
  2. On the Resource Checklists tab, open the resource checklist to which the checklist component belongs.
  3. On the Components tab, select the validated checklist component and select Actions > Revert Validation.
  4. On the pop-up dialog, specify this information:
    Reason

    Required. Select the reason code. The reason code must be defined with a subject of HCMEmployeeRevertChecklistActions.

    Comment

    If applicable, specify additional information.

  5. Click OK.
    • If the previous status was Awaiting Acknowledgment, the new status is Awaiting Acknowledgment And Validation.

    • If the previous status was Complete, the new status is Awaiting Acknowledgment And Validation, or Awaiting Validation (depending on whether the checklist component was defined to require acknowledgment).
