Notifying participants of class changes

  1. Open the session change.
    You can access a session on Development Planning > Manage Registrations or on Development Planning > Activities And Catalog > Define Activities And Sessions.
  2. On the Classes tab, specify your changes and save.

    The button "Class details have changed; send notifications" displays.

    Note: This button displays only if you have registered participants for the session.
  3. When you are ready to notify participants, click Class details have changed; send notifications.
  4. On the Class Details Have Changed Send Notifications form, specify this information:
    Additional Comments

    Specify the detail of the changes in this comment box.

    Include Details For All Remaining Classes

    To include the entire class schedule for the session, select this check box.

    Attachment

    To attach a file to the message, click the Attachment icon to browse to the file and attach it.

  5. Click OK.

    The Class details have changed; send notifications button is removed and the email is immediately sent to all registered participants.

    The email includes the text that is associated with the notification rule template and all of the items that you have specified on this form.

    Note: No correspondence record is created. To resend this notification click Actions > On Demand Session Notifications, re-enter the information, and click OK.
