Defining and maintaining attendance absence reasons

Note: Not applicable if you are using Infor Learning Management.

Attendance absence reasons describe why a session participant did not attend a class.

  1. Select Development Planning > Set Up > Activity Components > Other > Absence Reasons.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Effective Date

    Specify the effective date.

    Absence Reason

    Specify the name of the absence reason.

    Description

    Specify the absence reason's description. If left blank, the absence reason name defaults.

    Active

    The absence reason is active by default. Clear the check box to inactivate the absence reason.

  4. Click Save.
    Maintaining development absence reasons:
    • To update a development absence reason's description or Active status, open the attendance absence reason, make the changes, specify the affective date, and click Save.

    • To delete a development absence reason, open the attendance absence reason, specify an effective date, click Delete, and click Yes to confirm.
