Creating position components

  1. Select Administrator > Compensation > Jobs and Positions > Position Components.
  2. Select a component:
    • Levels
    • Families
    • Categories
    • Country Attributes
    • Working Condition Types
    • Working Conditions
    • Key Position Reasons
    • Critical Position Reasons
    • Frozen Position Reasons
  3. Click Create.
  4. In the Effective Date field, specify an effective date.
  5. Specify the information that is relevant to your item. For example, Position Family or Category.
  6. Optionally, specify a description.
  7. Verify that the Active check box is selected.
  8. Click Save.
