Configuring the budget analysis method

  1. Select Compensation > Set Up > Compensation Planning > Configurations.
    The Compensation Planning Configuration Form is displayed.
  2. From the Budget Analysis list, select Dynamic Totals or On Demand Report.
    • Dynamic totals are calculated dynamically, in real time. If you select Dynamic Totals, these menu options are displayed in the system:
      • Compensation > Awarding > Budget Process > Budget Analysis
      • Compensation > Awarding > Budget Process > Manager Budget Analysis
      • Manager > Adjust Compensation > Budget Analysis
    • On demand reports are manually run to create records with amounts and totals. If you select On Demand Report, these menu options are displayed in the system:
      • Compensation > Awarding > Budget Process > Budget Analysis Reports
      • Manager > Adjust Compensation > Budget Analysis Report
