Updating target compensation for an eligibility group

Use this procedure to update target compensation by eligibility group for changes in eligibility after initial enrollments.

If an employee needs a new target, the target is prorated based on the amount of time they are in each eligibility group.

  1. Select Compensation > Incentive Compensation > Enrollment > Update Target By Group.
  2. Specify this information:
    Compensation Program(s)

    Select the compensation programs for which to recalculate eligibility.

    The compensation programs must all have the same version date.

    Compensation Program Version

    Select a version date for the compensation programs.

    Employee Begin

    Specify the beginning ID for a range of employment IDs for the recalculation.

    Employee End

    Specify the end ID for a range of employment IDs for the recalculation.

    Determine Group As Of Date

    Specify the date as of which changes to eligibility for target groups must be assessed.

    Enrollments with targets by group will be selected, and those that no longer qualify for their target group as of the date specified will be considered for another target group from the compensation program. Target compensation update records are created for these changes and those records must be viewed and processed to update a resource's target compensation.

  3. Click Submit to process the action immediately, or click Schedule to schedule the action to run at a later date.
  4. Review and confirm the updates on Compensation > Incentive Compensation > Enrollment > Target Updates.
