Assigning salary structures to positions

Note: 

Job and position default rules control whether values default into these fields and whether they can be overridden.

  1. Select Compensation > Jobs And Positions > Positions.
  2. Select the position to which to assign a salary structure. The Position form displays. On the Compensation tab, specify this information (under Compensation Analysis).
    Salary Structure

    Select the structure to assign to this position.

    Note: 

    An active iteration of the salary structure must exist before you can specify a pay rate and currency.

    Salary Structure Grade

    Select the grade to assign to this position.

    Geographic Differential

    If you use geographic differentials, select the geographic differential for this structure.

    Salary Structure Range

    The range is displayed for your reference.

    Compa Ratio/Percent of Salary Range

    Display. This information appears if a pay rate has been specified on the position and on the salary structure grade, range, and geographic differential.

  3. Click Save.
