Creating new versions of existing market survey providers

You can create multiple versions of a market survey provider to keep the data for different periods separate.

  1. Survey Compensation > Set Up > Market Survey Providers.
  2. On the Survey Providers form, select the provider and version to copy, and select Actions > Create New Version From Existing Version.
  3. Specify this information:
    New Survey Provider

    The default is the survey provider name that was copied. You can keep the same name or assign a new one. If you keep the provider name constant, then you can filter on it.

    New Survey Provider Description

    Specify a name that reflects that this is a new version.

    New Survey Provider version

    Specify the new version date.

    Copy Survey provider Positions

    Select this check box to copy the survey provider positions from the old version. You can change the positions after the new version is created.

    Copy Matching Jobs And Positions

    Select this check box to copy your organization's matching jobs and positions from the old version. You can change the matching job and positions after the new version is created.

  4. Click OK.

    The new version is created.
