Attaching objective goals to bonus periods

  1. Select Compensation > Incentive Compensation > Bonus Objectives > Bonus Objective Periods.
  2. On the Active panel, select a resource and click Attach Bonus Objective.
  3. Select up to five goals.

    Goals that can be selected must be in Active status.

    Goals must have a goal type with the Use For Bonus Objectives option selected.

    Goals cannot be already attached to a bonus objective period.

    Only goals with dates that are included in the bonus period are displayed in the list.

  4. Click OK. The bonus objectives are created, if these conditions are met:
    • The total weight of the attached bonus objectives cannot exceed 100%.

    • If the Table Type field on the compensation table for the pay component has a value of Percent Step With Rating For Bonus Objective, then the rating scale on the attached goal must match the rating scale on the compensation table.

  5. To make changes to the bonus objective, click Detach Bonus Objective, change the goal in Goal Management, then re-attach the goal as a bonus objective.
