Transferring budgets

The Transfer Budget action is used to transfer funds from one manager to another manager. This action can be used by the budget owner, parent manager, and compensation analyst.

  1. Select Manager > Adjust Compensation > Compensation Awarding or Compensation Analyst > Awarding > Awarding Process > Roll Up Approval Views.
  2. Select an awarding view.
  3. Select a manager to transfer the budget from.
  4. Click Transfer Budget.
  5. Specify this information:
    Transfer Budget to Manager
    Select the manager to transfer the budget to.
    Transfer Amount
    Specify the amount to transfer. The transfer amount cannot be greater than the remaining budget amount.
  6. Click Submit.
    The budget amounts for both managers are updated.
