Compensation program enrollment statuses

When you enroll resources in a compensation program, you can create the enrollment in one of these statuses:

Status Description
Pending

In this status, the enrollment is available only to the compensation analyst. The enrollment can be reviewed, deleted, made available to managers, or finalized.

An enrollment in the Pending status can be changed to Manager Review or can be finalized.

Manager Review

You can select the Allow Manager Review option when you create the enrollment, or you can change the status of a pending enrollment from Pending to Manager Review.

When enrollments are in the Manager Review status, the enrolled resources' managers can view the proposed incentive compensation on the resource's compensation profile. The managers can take no action except for viewing the incentive compensation. Resources cannot view the incentive compensation.

An enrollment in Manager Review status can be reverted to Pending status, or it can be finalized.

Finalized, Pending Approval

Finalized, Approved

You can finalize enrollments at the time you create them, or you can finalize enrollment that are in Pending status or in Manager Review status.

If the compensation program is set up to require enrollment approval, finalizing the program initiates the approval process and places the enrollments in Finalized, Pending Approval status. the enrolled resources' managers can view the proposed incentive on the resources' compensation profile. Resources cannot view their incentive compensation.

If the compensation program does not require enrollment approval, or if the enrollment has received final approval, the enrollment is placed in Finalized, Approved status where it can be seen by the resources in their Employee space as well as by the managers on the resources' compensation profile.

Note: You can revert a finalized enrollment to Pending, in which case it is no longer available to the manager or the resource.
