Business subjects for Compensation eligibility groups

The business subject determines where an eligibility group can be selected. You must assign the correct subject to be able to select an eligibility group in the context of a form.

Note: 

A custom group can have multiple business subjects.

Business subject Description
HCMGroupCompPayOutExclusion A group defined with this subject can be selected to exclude a group of employees from compensation payouts.
HCMGroupCompProgram A group defined with this subject can be selected when you mass enroll employees in a compensation program.
HCMGroupEmployeeCompProgramFinalize A group defined with this subject can be selected when you mass finalize compensation program enrollment.
HCMGroupEmployeeCompProgramPayoutFinalize A group defined with this subject can be selected when you mass finalize compensation program payouts.
HCMGroupSalaryPlanning A group defined with this subject can be selected when you calculate a budget for a salary awarding view.
HCMGroupStepAndGradeRateProgression A group defined with this subject can be selected when you mass assign a step and grade rate progression.
HCMGroupSalarySurvey A group defined with this subject can be selected when you create an incumbent report for market survey purposes.

A group defined with this subject can be selected as a group of employees to which a pay range change will be applied when you perform a Create Mass Pay Rate Changes.
