Creating enrollments by resource

Use this procedure to enroll individual resources into a compensation program.

  1. Select Compensation > Incentive Compensation > Enrollment > Resource Enrollment.
  2. Click the By Selected Resource tab.
  3. On the Select A Compensation Program panel, select a compensation program.
  4. On the Resources Enrolled panel, select Create Enrollments.
  5. Select the resources to enroll, and click Create Enrollment.
  6. Specify this information:
    Plan Entry Date

    Required. Specify or select a date on which the resources will be enrolled in the compensation plan. It must be a date within the compensation program version date range.

    Exclude From Enrollment Group Updates

    Select this check box to exclude any changes from enrollment group updates. In most cases you would not select this. You can use this field to enroll all employees who should remain in the plan regardless of status changes.

    Allow Manager Review Only

    To allow managers to review their subordinates' variable incentive plans before they are made available to the resources, select this check box.

    Note: 

    You cannot select both Allow Manager Review Only and Complete Finalization Process Automatically. If you do not select either option, the enrollment is created in Pending status.

    Complete Finalization Process Automatically

    Select this check box to initiate the finalization process as soon as you click OK.

    You cannot select both Allow Manager Review Only and Complete Finalization Process Automatically. If you do not select either option, the enrollment is created in Pending status.

  7. Click OK.

    When action completes, the selected enrolled resources display on the Resources Enrolled panel.

  8. Check for errors on the Errors tab.
