Analyzing award budgets for the organization

Use this procedure to view grand totals of the budget amounts, budget spent, budget balance, current and new salaries, salary increases, and other awards. This is displayed in a tree view based of the manager structure.

Note: 

The compensation analyst's view includes both preliminary and final manager awarding records.

  1. Select Compensation > Awarding > Budget Process > Budget Analysis.
  2. In the Budget Rollup section, highlight a manager.

    The totals that display are the salary and budget grand totals for all of the manager's direct reports and the direct reports of the managers reporting to them. For example, if you highlight the CEO, the rollup amounts are the grand totals for all of the resources in the organization.

  3. In the Individual Manager Budget section, highlight a compensation awarding view and manager to display the budget totals for the manager's direct reports (the resources to which the manager makes awards).
  4. Open an awarding view to view individual resources.
