Recalculating enrollment

Use this procedure to update enrollment in a compensation program. This action evaluates existing group criteria and checks to see which resources no longer qualify for a compensation program.

In large organizations, this is something you might do daily. After enrollment is recalculated, view the records by selecting Compensation > Incentive Compensation > Enrollment > Enrollment Updates.

Note: 

This procedure does not apply to compensation programs on which the Exclude from Enrollment Group Updates to Eligibility Group check box is selected.

Note: 

Run this action when there are changes that affect eligibility. For example, resource terminations or status changes. We recommend that you run this action every night after all changes are completed for the day.

  1. Select Compensation > Incentive Compensation > Enrollment > Recalculate Enrollment.
  2. Specify this information:
    Compensation Program(s)

    Select up to six compensation programs for which to recalculate enrollment.

    Note: 

    All of the compensation programs that you select must have the same version date.

    Compensation Program Version

    Select the version date for the compensation programs.

    Employee Begin

    Select the beginning ID for a range of employment IDs for the recalculation.

    If you select an employment ID range, you cannot select an enrollment group.

    Employee End

    Select the end ID for a range of employment IDs for the recalculation.

    If you select an employment ID range, you cannot select an enrollment group.

    Enrollment Group(s)

    Select up to four enrollment groups for the recalculation.

    If you select an enrollment group, you cannot select an employment ID range.

    Determine Group As Of Date

    Specify a date on which to assess eligibility. When you recalculate enrollment, enrollment is ended for resources that no longer meet group criteria as of this date.

  3. Click Submit to run the action immediately or click Schedule to schedule the action to run at a later time.
  4. After you run this program, select Compensation > Incentive Compensation > Enrollment > Enrollment Updates to review and confirm the changes.
