Creating a user-specific queue

A queue mapping for an individual user can be created that overrides the queue mapping defined with the Action Configuration Utility.

This overridden queue mapping is not reflected on the Action Configuration screen.

Action Configuration can be overridden by mappings that specify:

  • Actor
  • Data Area
  • Actor and Data Area
  • Actor and Business Class and Action
  • Data Area and Business Class and Action
  • Actor and Data Area and Business Class and Action

Action Configuration is not overridden by mappings that specify Business Class (without Action).

  1. Select Async Administrator > Async Overview.
  2. Open a queue.
  3. Click the Queue Mappings tab.
  4. Open a mapping.
  5. Specify the Actor, Data Area, Class, and Action.
  6. Click Save.
