Configuring document flow for BODs

Every document flow has a start and an end. For a new document flow, only the start and end are shown. You can add items to the flow using this general method.

  1. In ION Desk, select Connect > Model > Document Flow.
  2. Select the application icon in the toolbox.
  3. Select the line where the product must be added. Alternatively, drag the item from the toolbox to the line where it must be added.
    An Activity box is added.
  4. Select the Activity to view or change the properties in the Activity Task pane.
  5. Select Add to add the GHR connection point to the Activity.
    Note: Verify that you are adding the specific GHR connection point for ION. Do not use the IOBox connections, as those have been deprecated.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 to add the receiving connection point to the flow.
  7. Select the document icon between the products to define the documents that flow from the first product to the second product.
  8. In the Documents section, select Add. Then select the Document that is passed between the connection points.
  9. Save the document flow.
  10. To delete an item, right-click it and select Delete.
