Defining attendance absence reasons

Use attendance absence reasons to describe why a session participant did not attend a class.
  1. Select Learning and Development > Set Up > Activity Components > Other > Absence Reasons.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Absence Reason

    Specify the name of the absence reason.

    Description

    Specify the absence reason's description. If left blank, the absence reason name defaults.

    Active

    Select this check box to make the absence reason active. Inactive absence reasons are not displayed in lists.

  4. Click Save.
