Defining a certificate template

Certificate templates are used when certificates are generated for various reasons such as when attendees complete an activity. Certificate templates are the certificates into which variables like activity name, attendee name, and date are inserted.

Administrators define certificate templates by uploading files to the system. Templates are then assigned to activities. When an instructor generates certificates for an activity, the template is pulled from the system, and the variables are inserted into it. The instructor then generates and prints the certificates of completion.
