Creating notifications for Linkedin Learning catalog synchronization status

Notifications that are used to inform learning administrators and content administrators about the success or failure of catalog synchronizations can be configured. The email communicates the result of the last catalog synchronization. It includes the number of courses and activities that were imported during the synchronization. Synchronization details are displayed in the Sync LinkedIn Learning Catalog page.

The email notification includes this information:

  • Total Courses Synced – the number of courses successfully synchronized
  • New – the number of new courses successfully synchronized
  • Updated – the number of updated courses successfully synchronized
  • Retired – the number of retired courses successfully synchronized
  • Error – the number of courses that encounters an error during the synchronization
  1. Select Utilities > Bulk Actions > Sync Linkedin Learning Catalog.
  2. In the Action menu, click Sync Catalog.
  3. Click Submit. Synchronization detailsare sent as email notification to the learning administrator or content administrator that initiated the synchronization.
