Mass stopping enrollments

You can stop multiple employee benefit enrollment records at once with the Mass Stop Enrollments action. If errors occur as a result of this action, they are displayed on the Employee Errors tab. Errors related to COBRA participants are displayed on the Participant Errors tab.

  1. Select Benefits > Maintenance > Processes > Mass Stop Enrollments and click Create Report.
  2. Specify this information:
    Stop Date
Specify the date that will be used as the end date for the stopped records.

    Benefit Group
Select a benefit group to limit the scope of the action to a specific benefit group. If you select a benefit group that is only for COBRA participants, action parameter fields that are not relevant to COBRA participant records are no longer displayed.
  3. In the Select Mass Stop Options section, specify this information:
    Stop Eligibility
Select this check box to stop eligibility records. This makes resources ineligible for the selected plans after the specified stop date.

Administrators can make changes to employee benefit import records in Utilities > Data Load Programs > Benefits > Employee Benefit Import. The Change Coverage Option can be used to change the coverage option for multiple records. Records are filtered based on their batch number, which is the same for all records created by one Mass Stop Enrollments action. The Set Coverage Amount action can be used to change the coverage amount of individual employee benefit import records.
  4. Click Submit.
