Assigning individuals to an ALE member

Follow these steps to assign employees, retirees, and COBRA participants to ALE members for each month. Assignments can be based on the benefit groups associated to the ALE member, or on actual hours worked by employees.

Before using this procedure, you must ensure that ALE members and ALE groups have been created for the year. See Setting up ALE members and Setting up ALE member groups.

  1. Select Benefits > Reports > ACA > ALE Member Assignment.
  2. Click Create ALE Member Assignment. See Creating ALE member assignment reports.
  3. Review the results for employees and retirees on the Employees tab, and for COBRA participants on the COBRA Participants tab.
