Mass finalizing enrollments
Administrators can finalize enrollments en masse. Finalizing an enrollment event creates individual benefits for the elections that have been submitted.
Passive enrollment occurs when employees do not submit their election choices. This causes their existing benefits to continue unchanged when their enrollments are finalized.
If the employee's enrollment is in Draft or Started status when finalized, their current enrollments for plans that enable passive enrollment continue. Current enrollments for plans that do not enable passive enrollment are stopped.
If passive enrollment is not enabled for an enrollment rule and the employee does not submit elections, their existing benefits included in the enrollment are stopped.
