Changing the enrollment period

If required, you can change the beginning and end dates of an individual employee's enrollment period. For example, if an executive is out of the country, you may want to grant additional days for open enrollment. Any changes that you make to enrollment periods are displayed on the Enrollment Exceptions tab.

  1. Select Benefits > Enrollment Events > Open Enrollment > Enrollment tab.

    or

    Select Benefits > Enrollment Events > Life Events > By Life Event tab.

  2. Select an enrollment event.
  3. Open an employee in the enrollment event.
  4. Click Change Enrollment Period.
  5. Specify this information:
    New Enrollment Period
    Specify the start and end dates of the new enrollment period.
    Reason
    Specify the reason for changing the enrollment period. This must be an action reason code with the subject HCMEmployeeBenefitEnrollment.
    Comments
    Optionally, specify any additional information about the change.
  6. Click OK.
