Allowing buy time off requests

Use this procedure to attach a buy time off schedule to a plan.

  1. Select Absence Management > Set Up > Plans and Components > Plans.
  2. Select a plan.
  3. In the Details tab, verify that the Buy Request check box is selected.
  4. Click Buy Options.
  5. Select the buy time off schedule from the list.
  6. Select whether employees add their requests in hours or days. Optionally, select the check box to require employees to specify buy time off requests in increments that match the request types selected for time off.
  7. Click Save.
