Accruals

Accruals are hours that build up over time, similar to a savings account of time off. When you define absence plan rules and tables, you determine how and when accruals are earned.

As an example, resources can accrue in this manner:

• one vacation day a month for the first year of employment
• one and a half days a month for the second through fourth year of employment
• two days a month for the fifth through tenth years
