Viewing absence plan balances and transactions

Use the Absence Analysis menu to view data about a specific resource's absence plan or to view absence data across the organization. Administrators can view a summary of balances, transactions that affect a balance, and service and event records.

Function Navigation
View a resource's current plan balances and several important dates. Absence Analysis > Resource Plans and select the Key Dates and Balances tab.
View a resource's processed and closed absence transactions.

You can add Period End Date for allotments in your lists using the personalize feature. Select Options > Personalize. You can also use the Configuration Console. See the Configuration Console User Guide.

Absence Analysis > Resource Plans and select the Transactions tab.
View a running total of a resource's transactions impacting their available balance. Absence Analysis > Resource Plans and select the Running Available Balances tab.
View service and event records.
  • View service hours by Resource.

    Confirm an accrual calculation that is based on hours worked in a pay period. The data that is displayed can be limited to records that meet one of these criteria:

    • contain a selected service code
    • contain service codes within a selected service class
    • are within a specified date range
Absence Analysis > Service and Events and select the Service tab.
View service and event records.
  • View event history by Resource to verify the number of hours that are used to decrement a balance in an absence plan. You can also confirm that an event has been added for a resource.
  • The data that is displayed can be limited to records that meet one of these criteria:
    • contains a selected reason code
    • contain reason codes within a selected reason class
    • within a specified date range
    • for a specified day of the week
  • Total hours and Occurrences are displayed.
Absence Analysis > Service and Events and select the Events tab.
View a list of all Resource Plans for the Organization.
  • All balances are displayed: Hours, Days, % of Limit
  • Transactions link is available when transactions exist for a specific Resource Plan record.
  • Users can sort on the Available Hours column.
  • Use Options > Export to CSV to get a CSV formatted file of the list.

    Use Options > Print To File to print the entire list.

  • Use the Print action to get a report of an individual Resource Plan with all its balances and transaction detail.
Absence Analysis > Organization Absence and select the Balances tab.
View event history across all Resource Plans for the Organization.

Verify the number of hours used to decrement a balance in an absence plan, or to confirm a given event has been entered for a resource.

The data that is displayed can be limited to records that meet one of these criteria:

  • contain a selected reason code
  • contain reason codes within a selected reason class
  • are within a specified date range
  • are for a specified day of the week.

Total hours and Occurrences are displayed.

Absence Analysis > Organization Absence and select the Events tab.
