Overrides

A resource may have a balance that is different from the eligibility group and plan in which they are enrolled. Instead of creating a new plan for this resource, you can optionally override a variety of tables for the selected resource. You can override by selecting a different rule table on the Overrides tab. Tables can be defined for hours only. You can only use the override tab if the plan rules hold the same type of table. These override tables can be defined:

• Accrual
• Allotment
• Balance Limit
• Accrual Limit
• Carryover
• General Ledger Liability

You can override the General Ledger Account and Activity, Cost Center and Project, or the Finance Enterprise Structure accounting elements from the plan's General Ledger Rule. You can also override Negative Balance Option settings that are defined on the Balance Rule.
