Completing a leave of absence

When the resource's leave of absence ends, either the manager or the Absence administrator must perform the Complete Leave action. This changes the status of the leave to Completed.

When a leave is in a Completed status, the resource and manager can only view the details of the completed leave. The Absence administrator can update the completed leave and even change the leave status to any other status.

  1. Select Absence Management > Maintain Absences > Leaves of Absence..
  2. Select the On Leave tab.
  3. Select a leave request from the list and click Complete Leave.
  4. Specify the Leave End Date, the Return To Work date, and add links to further documentation. Add comments in the Additional Information field, and whether the resource is returning to Restricted Duty.
  5. Click OK.
