Plan transfers

You can transfer a resource or a group of resources from one plan to another. Various options are available for selecting the records and data to transfer. You can transfer resources after you process status changes, promotions, or organization unit transfers. You can only transfer between plans with the same Accrual option and currency.

Example

Two Rivers Company has two vacation plans. One plan is for full time resources and the other is for part-time resources. Louise Howard was a part time resource who was recently promoted to a full-time position. Recalculate Enrollments was run and Louise's enrollment in the vacation plan for part-time resources was ended. An enrollment was created for Louise in the plan for full-time resources. The Absence Administrator used Transfer Plans by Accrual End Date to transfer absence management balances for Louise from the part-time vacation plan to the full-time vacation plan.
