Correcting other service and event data

Use this procedure to manually adjust a closed resource service record after the absence cycle is closed. For example, in a previous period, eight hours of vacation service was recorded and processed, but it was added in error. To reverse it out, create a negative service record to back out those hours. Add a new service code to reflect eight hours of regular pay.

  1. Select Absence Management > Processing > Open Service Records.
  2. Add a new service record to offset the original record.
  3. Select the correct service and reason code.
Note: You can use the Manual Transactions to adjust hours if there are processing errors.
The offset is processed and closed within the next absence processing cycle.
