Family Medical Leave Act entitlement
Use the Restore FMLA Leave action to restore leave amounts used under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) or other programs that include a rolling 12 month entitlement. After a resource uses leave time and returns to work, the amount of leave that is used can be automatically restored to the entitlement balance. Selection parameters provide flexibility and control over the timing of the return of the entitlement.
When you run the Restore FMLA Leave action, manual transactions are created and processed through the absence cycle similar to other manual transactions. You can view manual transactions by selecting . These types of manual transactions can be deleted, but they cannot be changed and they cannot be added on Manual Transactions forms. Resource service records are updated with a restore date to indicate that the record is used in the restore process.
The Restore FMLA Leave action is not performed when the action is running.
