Performing the update

After you validate content with the customer’s customization, STC must be swapped with the ATC spaces.

Only delivered STC spaces are swapped with the customer’s ATC spaces.

ID worksheet

Before you apply the update, ensure that you have this information.

To get the space ID:

  1. In Infor Birst, select Admin.
  2. Select Space Management > Select Space > Space Properties.

    You can find and document the ID located in the first text box.

To get the Shared Connection ID:
  1. In Infor Birst, select Admin > Space Management.
  2. Choose a space and select Command Window.
  3. Specify the command in the bottom text box on the command window.
    Note: You can run this command if you are an account Admin.

    This can be run in the Source, Security or Extension spaces.

    Command: getid connection “[connectionname]”

If the user has Birst System Administrator role, then you can use the below steps to get IDs

To get the space ID and connection ID:

  1. In Infor Birst, select Admin > Application Management.
  2. Get the IDs listed under the Birst Object ID column for both HR Talent Analytics and HR Talent Analytics Standard Tenant Content.

Use this table to keep track of the spaces you are using.

Note: The commands - copyspace and repointpackages use “spaceid”, repointconnection uses “sharedconnectionid”, and swapspacecontents uses “spacename”.
