Deleting session connection records

When user sessions become orphaned, you might have to manually delete or clear the connection record for those sessions.

To clear session connections for orphaned or other sessions:

  1. Open the Session Management form.
  2. To check the license module usage for a session, select that session and then click License Module Usage.
    This launches the License Modules per User Connection form, which can be helpful in determining whether the session is, in fact, active or not. If there are no license modules being used by a particular session connection, then it is a fair indication that that session is no longer active and can be safely deleted.
  3. Use the check boxes in the Selected column to select any sessions you want to delete.
    You can click directly in the check boxes, or, to select all sessions, click Select All.
  4. Click Delete Selected Sessions.
