Sequence/Handler Sequence

Use this field to view the number that specifies the order in which the system processes event handlers, when multiple handlers exist for a single event.

On the Event Handlers and Event Handler Diagram forms, this field, in conjunction with the Event Name field, uniquely identifies each event handler. The system assigns this number automatically when you create and save an event handler.

Note:  The system can change this number whenever you perform these actions:
  • Add a new event handler to the sequence for an event.
  • Delete an event handler from the sequence for an event.
  • Change the order of your event handlers (only), using the Event Handler Sequence form.
  • Import and synchronize metadata from other sources using the AppMetadataSync utility.
