Document Name

The document name uniquely describes the Business Object Document (BOD) and is used internally in this application to link elements and attributes defined on different forms to the BOD.

For more information about BODs, see Replication using BODs.

The document name generally consists of just the BOD Noun. However, special cases exist. For example, in the case of a purchase order, there are two documents defined for the PurchaseOrder BOD Noun: the PurchaseOrder document that contains all the element/attribute definitions, and a PurchaseOrderDelete document containing the small subset of the elements/attributes that are required for deletion of the PO.

The document name is defined on the Replication Documents form and displays on other related forms.
