Background Retry Button
Click this button to retry a failed event handler in the background and not wait for it to complete.
On the Event Handler Status form, this button is enabled only for event handlers that can be retried.
On the Event Status form, this button is enabled if there are handlers that can be retried, or if the status is Failure. If you successfully retry each of the failed handlers individually, and you want to determine if there are any other handlers that would have run if the failures did not occur, you can click this button to try to continue the event.
By default, successful events are not shown on these forms. To verify that an event completed successfully after a retry, you can temporarily set the Keep Successful Event States process default to 1. Reset the process default to 0 after verification; otherwise the tables containing this state history information grow quickly and adversely affect performance.
