Counting or verifying items by inventory tag

To count or verify the items using the inventory tag:

  1. Select Inventory Count > Phys Inv By TagThe Phys Inv By Tag form is displayed.
    Note: To access this form, you can also select Icon Menu > Inventory Count > Phys Inv By Tag.
  2. Specify or review this information:
    Checking
    Indicate if you are counting or verifying the items in inventory. Possible values:
    • Yes: You can count the items in inventory.
    • No: You can verify the items in inventory.
    Whse
    The code of the warehouse. By default, the warehouse linked to your username is displayed.This option is displayed only if the selected item is serial-controlled. You must scan or select the serial number for each item, in the
    Emp ID
    The employee number assigned to you.
    Tag
    The tag number for counting or verifying.
    Item
    The code of the item. You can scan or select the item code to confirm that you are counting or verifying the correct item. This field is displayed only if the Input Item parameter is selected for this transaction.
    Lot
    The lot number. You can scan or select the lot number to confirm that you are counting or verifying the correct lot. This field is displayed only if the Input Lot parameter is selected for this transaction.
    Whse
    The code of the warehouse. You must specify the warehouse to confirm that the items are counted or verified in the correct warehouse. This field is displayed only if the Input Whse parameter is selected for this transaction..
    Loc
    The code of the location. You must specify the location to confirm that the items are counted or verified in the correct location. This field is displayed only if the Input Loc parameter is selected for this transaction.
    Qty
    This option is displayed only if the selected item isThe item quantity that is counted or verified.
  3. Click Next.
    Note: Serial field. The Scanned field displays the count of the serial numbers you have scanned. You can also click Show List to view the available serial numbers, or click Clear List to clear all the scanned serial numbers.
  4. Click Process after scanning the required quantity of serial numbers.
    Note: The application prints the labels if the transaction is configured to print labels automatically. Else, the Label Printing screen is displayed wherein you can specify the required details.
