Starting Jobs

Use the Job Booking transaction to start jobs for employees and machines. The time the employee spends working on the job is recorded and attributed to the job in your ERP system. You can start these job types:

  • production orders

  • setup activities

  • indirect tasks

  • projects

  • service orders

You must have the Time Track module implemented to use the Job Booking transaction. If you do not have the Time Track module implemented, use the Labor Reporting transaction to start jobs. See Starting Jobs Using Warehouse Mobility for instructions on using the Labor Reporting transaction.
