Reduction Set Validations

You can manually create and/or update the Reduction Sets assigned to the downloaded shifts. Some of the errors that are displayed during this process are:

• The Break period must be within the on-shift hours. message is displayed when the update for break start time or end time is outside the assigned shift day’s on-shift hours.
• The Break period conflicts with lunch period. message is displayed when the update to start time or end time is within the lunch period for the Reduction Set.
• The Elapsed time for break is extensive. Do you want to update now? message is displayed when update to start time or end time for Break results in Elapsed Time greater than 35 minutes.
• The Elapsed time for lunch is extensive. Do you want to update now? message is displayed when the lunch start time or end time results in Elapsed Time greater than 90 minutes.
• The Reduction Set Lunch Start and End times must match CSI Lunch Start and End times. message is displayed when the lunch time defined on the Reduction Set ID does not match the shift day to which the Reduction Set is being assigned.
• The All working days on shift must have an assigned reduction set. message is displayed when a defined shift day (non-midnight-to-midnight day) does not have a Reduction Set assigned.
