Adding Jobs to Worksets

You can use this form to add operations, tasks, activities, projects, and service labor to a workset before or after the same is started. Operations, tasks, activities, projects or service labor added to a running workset are automatically started.

Note:  You cannot add just-in-time production orders or production schedules to worksets.
  1. Select Labor > Workset Maintenance. The Workset Maintenance form is displayed.
  2. Select Employee or Team in the Type field.
  3. Specify the Team or the Badge ID.
  4. Click Refresh Workset to view the workset associated with the selected team or badge ID, if required. The operations and tasks of the workset are displayed on the Workset tab.
  5. Select one of the option in the Order Type field:
    • Run: Add a job operation
    • Indirect: Add an indirect task
    • Project: Add project labor
    • Setup: Add a setup activity
    • SRO: Add service labor
    1. Specify a Job, Job Suffix, and Operation for Run or Setup. The item number is displayed.
      • The Res ID field is displayed only if the Order Type field is set to Run or Setup.
      • The Machine Resource field is displayed only if the Order Type field is to Run or Setup and the Combine Labor and Machine Time check box is selected.
    2. Select a task code, for Indirect.
    3. Specify a project number, task code, and cost code for Project.
    4. Specify a Partner ID, Service Order Number, Line Number, and Operation for SRO.
  6. Click the Details tab to view the details of selected operation or task.
  7. Select the Combine Labor and Machine Time check box to report machine time as a ratio of labor time for Run or Setup transactions.
    Note:
    • When FT Time Track functionality is implemented, the employee can specify the ratio using the Machine Ratio field, that is displayed when Combine Labor and Machine Time check box is selected. When FT Time Track is not implemented, FT uses straight proration or 1 to 1 proration.
    • When Time Track is implemented, the machine ratio determines what portion of the reported labor time must be reported for the machine. For example, a ratio of .5 must report half the reported labor time for the machine. If the Time Track functionality is not implemented and the Combine Labor and Machine Time check box is selected, then machine time is always reported as a one-to-one ratio to labor time.
  8. Click Add To Workset.
