Adding Job Routing Notes

You can use the Job Routing Notes form to link relevant notes to a job, such as special instructions.
Note: You can only access this form from the Work Center form.

To add job routing notes:

  1. Select Labor > Work Center. The Work Center form is displayed.
    Note: The value in the Employee ID field is defaulted and cannot be modified.
  2. Select the Resource Group, Resource ID and the Work Center in the header section.
    The related data is updated on the Active, Job List, Project, Service and PS/JIT tabs.
  3. Click the Active tab to view the operations, tasks, and activities that are currently working and active.
  4. Select an operation, task, or activity on the Job List tab or the Active Transactions tab.
  5. Click Notes in the Miscellaneous section. The Job Routing Notes form is displayed. The titles of any notes for the selected operation are displayed in the Subject section.
  6. Click the Add Note option in the Notes section. The Add Job/Job Routing Notes form is displayed.
  7. Specify this information:
    Subject
    The subject for your note. This is also used as a title of the note.
    Internal
    Select this check box to designate that the note is applicable for internal audiences only.
    Note
    The content of the note.
    Job Routing
    Indicates that the note is applicable for job routing.
    Job
    Indicates that the note is applicable for job.
  8. Click Process to save the job routing notes.
