Adding Items to Containers
To add items to containers, execute these steps:
- Select Miscellaneous > Build Container. The Build Container form is displayed.

Specify or review this information:
- Container
- Scan a container.
- Whse
- The warehouse in which the container is located.
Note: This field is applicable and enabled only if you are adding items to a new container. If you are adding items to an existing container, the warehouse of the selected container is displayed.
- Location
- The location of the container in the warehouse.
Note: This field is applicable and enabled only if you are adding items to a new container. If you are adding items to an existing container, the warehouse of the selected container is displayed.
- Item
- The item that must be added to the container. Scan an item to add to the container. The item description is displayed.
- Available
- Indicates the available quantity of the item in the location of the warehouse.
- Qty
- The quantity of the items that must be added to the container.
- Select a lot number in the Lot field on the Lot/Serial tab.
- Verify that the quantity of serial numbers that are not assigned, is displayed in the Un-Assigned field on the Lot/Serial tab.
- Select the serial numbers of the items that must be added to the container and click the arrow button. See Assigning Serial Numbers for details. You must specify all unassigned serial numbers to add the items.

Click Process to add
the specified item quantity to the container.
If this form is configured to print labels, labels are automatically printed or the Label Printing form is opened. See Printing Labels for information about printing labels using the Label Printing form.
