Staged Employees

Use the Staged Employee form to stage the employee master data temporarily before moving it to the master data table in Factory Track.

When the synchronization process is initiated, the master data is extracted from the ERP system and written to the staging tables for employees. An individual staging record is created for every master data record extracted. For example, in the Staged Employees Form, 200 employees are extracted from the ERP system. This creates 200 Employee staging records, all created with the same batch number, that identifies the particular extract being performed.

The form initially shows the base data from the ERP system along with the status set to Downloaded. When the defaults are applied, the values on the Staged Employees form are updated with the defaults and the status is changed to Defaults Applied. At this stage, this form can be used to manually change certain fields if necessary. Consequently, the batch is posted to Factory Track and the status is changed to Posted. After this action is updated, no changes can be made to the staging records (for employees).

For CSI, the behavior of Staged Employees form is based on these global parameters:

  • Time Track is implemented
  • Infor CSI Time and Attendance implemented
  • None.

If the Infor CSI Time and Attendance implemented or None parameters are selected, the Data Sync Control form operates in the Non-Time Track mode. In this mode, these fields are not displayed:

  • Indirect Task
  • User Name
  • ERP Cost Component
  • Payroll ID
