Data Sync Control

Use the Data Sync Control form to synchronize data from the native ERP system to Factory Track. This form is used to submit a request to perform the synchronization, selecting the types of data that must be synchronized in this particular run. This form can also be used to view the results of the synchronization and to initiate the various stages of the process.

The Data Sync Control utility is enabled to schedule in the background mode. Based on the frequency required, Factory Track administrator can create a new background job to execute the Data Sync Control utility.
Note: For CSI and WFM, you can use this form in an interactive mode. For LN, it works as a report.

For CSI, the Data Synchronization functionality is based on these global parameters:

  • Time Track is implemented
  • Infor CSI Time and Attendance implemented
  • None

If the Infor CSI Time and Attendance implemented or None parameters are selected (or Time Track is not implemented), the Holidays and Time Off Groups checkboxes are not displayed on the Control tab on the Data Sync Control form. Also, the values are not sought from the ERP application.

For WFM, the Non-Time Track mode is used, by default.

The form consists of two tabs:

  • Control: This is the overall control data for the synchronization process. User can view these fields:
    1. Create work groups from Departments: If this check box is selected, the form creates work group as part of departments data synchronization.
    2. Alternative: SL must schedule alternate for holiday type of download.
