Picking items for customer orders

  1. Select Outbound Transactions > Customer Order Picking. The Customer Order Picking form is displayed.
    Note: To access this form, you can also select Icon Menu > Ship It > Customer Order Picking.
  2. Specify or review this information:
    Whse
    The warehouse at which the items are received. By default, the warehouse linked to your username is displayed.
    Ord
    The customer order number.
    Stage Loc
    The staging location. By default, the location linked to the warehouse is displayed.
    Document Number
    The document number used for the material transaction re-consolidation or grouping. The document number is used for processing regular and serial controlled items.
  3. Select a line and click Next.
    The order number, line number, item, required quantity and stage location are displayed.
  4. Specify or review this information:
    Loc
    The location from which the item is picked.
    Lot
    The lot number of the item.
    Note: An error message is displayed for the lot items or serial items if the transaction restriction code is set to Stock Move in CSI.
    Available
    The quantity that is available at the selected location.
    To Pick
    The quantity of items to be picked.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Scan or select a serial number in the Serial field for each item to manually generate serial numbers. The Scanned field displays the total serial numbers to be scanned.
  7. Click Process after scanning the required serial numbers. Select Show List to view, or select Clear List to clear the list of available serial numbers.
  8. Click Process after scanning the required serial numbers.
    Note: The application prints the labels if the transaction is configured to print labels automatically. Else, the Label Printing form is displayed wherein you can specify the required details. See Printing Labels.
