Stopping Jobs

You can use the Labor Reporting form to stop jobs for employees. The time the employee spends working on a job is recorded and attributed to the job in the ERP system. You can also report completed quantities when stopping jobs. In the Labor Reporting transaction, the Job stop and setup stop transactions are modified to include the Resource ID field. This field is displayed only when the Display Resource ID parameter is set to True. You can stop these job types:

  • Production orders
  • Setup activities
  • Indirect tasks
  • Production schedules
  • Just-in-time production jobs
  • Projects
  • Service orders
  • Work center labor
If the Time Track functionality is implemented, you must use the Job Booking transaction instead of the Labor Reporting transactions to stop:
  • Production orders
  • Setup activities
  • Indirect tasks
  • Projects
  • Service orders
  • Machine jobs
See Stopping Jobs Using Time Track and Warehouse Mobility for instructions on using the Job Booking transaction.
