License Document

Specify your license document here when you want to apply a new license. Infor provides this document in the form of a .txt document upon the purchase of Infor products. If you do not have your license document, contact Infor Customer Service. You can cut and paste the information from the license document into this field, or you can click Browse and select the document from your drive. The document is encrypted and every character counts, so if you copy and paste, make sure to copy the entire document.

Once you have entered the license document, click Apply License. Any previous multi-session users that you had are deleted and replaced with the ones defined in the new license document.

For example, in a Named User license environment, you are applying a new license to replace an old one for the ProductA module. The old license was for 50 users, and the new one is for 40. When you click Apply License, you get an error message. If the new license is for fewer users than the old license, you need to go to the User Modules form and delete users' association with the ProductA module until you have the same amount or fewer than the new license allows. If your new license is for the same number of users or more, then you can apply the license and you do not need to do anything else.
