Authentication

On the External App Parameters form, specify the authentication type to ensure that the connection credentials for the external application is valid:

• Basic - this method uses domain account.
• 0Auth1 - this method accepts consumer key as username and secret key as password. 0Auth1 is chosen as a backend service account so impersonation can be implemented rather than have every IDM CreatedBy and UpdatedBy value by the same user.
